To place a bid, you must follow these easy steps:


(1) Login to your account – If you have not already registered, you must do so before your bid is placed.
(2) Find you item by category, or by using our search bar.
(3) Go to the description page of that item.
(4) At the bottom of the item description page you will see a “bidding box”, or, you may use the shortcut link to the bidding box if you wish.
(4) Enter your bid, Please be sure to bid above the minimum bid required
(5) Click on the “place bid” button
(6) You will then be asked to confirm you bid, once you have done so your bid will be entered, if successful you will receive a confirmation message. If you bid fails to outbid the current high bidder you will be offered the option to place a higher bid.


Proxy Bidding

Proxy Bidding can aid your chances of winning an auction and can help you avoid being outbid at the last moment. To place a proxy bid enter in the maximum price you are willing to pay for the item. If another user places a bid on the same auction automatic bids will be placed on your behalf in accordance with your maximum bid amount. With proxy bidding you will pay the lowest possible price until someone else places a higher bid.


Buy It Now

Buy it now prices are set by the seller, if you agree with that price, you can click on the “Buy Now” button which is displayed on the auction details page. After clicking on the button you will be re-directed to a confirmation page. Standard auctions will end instantly and be listed as sold.

Dutch Auctions

Dutch auctions are items listed in quantities greater than one. You may enter the amount of items you wish to buy (depending the quantity available). If you purchase less than the available total, the auction will remain open with the number of items left available after you have purchased the amount you want.

Once you have signed up for an account, you will be able to sell items through the Exotic Model Bids site.

In order to do that, you will have to click on the “Sell” link, and you will be redirected to a page, you can then select the main category of the product or service you want to sell. This feature has been made in order to ease the subcategory choosing process. No items can be sold by choosing only the main category; you will have to choose a subcategory as well.

The second step is entering the auction details, settings, payment methods available, and choosing a category. The first image comes with the auction, and is free of charge.
There may be a charge for adding additional pictures.

On the Auction Settings tab, choose the type of the auction, the start price, whether to activate buy now or set a reserve price.

Also, you will be able to choose what type of bid increment to use, the progressive one implemented into the site (that can be edited from the admin area), or a custom one. If you choose the custom one, you will have to enter an increment value.

You will also be able to choose whether to FEATURE your item, and the duration of the auction.

After setting the location, shipping, payment and subcategory, click on the “Next Step” button. You will be redirected to Step Three, where you can review the auction before submitting. If everything is correct, click on the “Submit” button. You will be redirected to the payment page, or a confirmation page, if no fees have to be paid. The auction is activated once the payment is confirmed by the payment gateway, or instantly, if no fees need to be paid.

Registration for bidding/purchasing is quick and simple. Your account will be activated instantly.

If you are registering as a seller, your registration will be reviewed and activated after your account is verified.

To begin the signup process, click on the “Register” link at the top of the page.

ONLY USERS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER MAY REGISTER.

Next, fill in all required information. Failure to supply all the required information will result in an error.

Last, click on the “Register” button at the bottom of the page. You will then be redirected to a page with a link to the payment gateway if the signup fee is activated, or to a confirmation page, if signup is free.

Your account will be activated instantly if there is no signup fee, or once the payment has been confirmed.

Members Area

WELCOME!
Once you have successfully logged in using the login forms from the main page or from the login page (click on the “LOGIN” button from the page header), you will be redirected to the members area page. This page is divided into four tabs:

1. Bidding

On this page, you will be able to see the items that you are currently bidding on, as well as the status of the bids, items you have won, and watched items. By clicking on the “Auction Watch” link, you will be able to add keywords for auctions you are interested in. An email will be sent to your email address every time an auction that contains the keyword in it's name and/or description.

By clicking on the “View Details” link from the Won Items area, you will be able to see the details of the seller, and contact that seller in order to complete the sale.

2. Selling

There are three areas on this page.

My Opened Auctions

My Opened Auctions is where you will find the details of auctions you currently have open; if no bids hve been submitted on an open auction, you may edit the auction.

My Closed Auctions

My Closed Auctions is where you will find your closed auctions. You may choose to edit, delete or re-list a closed auction.


Sold Items

Sold Items is where you will find the items you have sold. By clicking on the “View Details” link, you will be redirected to a page where you will be able to see the details of the buyer. In order for you to see the buyer details. will have to pay for any and all end of auction fees for this auction.

If, after the seller has contacted the bidder, no sale has been made, you may claim back the end of auction fee. Click on “Claim back end of auction fee”, a claim back request will be sent to the site’s administrator for immediate evaluation and approval.

3. Feedback

Feedback is where you will be able to view the feedbacks that you have received. You may also leave feedback for other users here.

4. Personal Info

You may edit your personal information, (including password) using this page. Your username can not be edited. If the password and confirm password fields are left empty, the password will remain the same.

Once a sale has been processed, both the seller and the buyer will be able to leave feedback for each other. The feedback rating is from one star to five stars, and a feedback comment can also be left. The feedback can be left from the “Feedback” tab in the Members Area. Feedback can only be submitted once (per auction), and may not be edited after it has been posted.

The site administrator reserves the right to edit or delete profanity, malicious or untrue feedback.

The item watch feature allows you to keep a close eye on any auction without having to place a bid. This feature provides users with an up to date status report of an auction, and helps users place a last minute, winning bid. You may watch any auction by clicking on the “Watch this item” link on any auction page.

The auction watch feature notifies users of newly listed auctions which contain “keywords” they have chosen. For example if you are looking for a “Panty” you may enter the keyword "Panty" once you are logged into the member's area. Each time a new auction is listed containing the term “Panty” you will be notified via this web-site. You may enter as many keywords as you like.
